Citation, commencement and extent

1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Police Pensions Regulations 2006.
(2) These Regulations come into force on 1st February 2007 and have effect from 6th April 2006(1), subject to paragraph (3).
(3) The following regulations have effect from 1st February 2007—
(a)regulation 13(3)(b); and
(b)regulation 78(7).
(4) These Regulations extend to England and Wales.

Retrospective effect is permitted by section 1(5) of the Police Pensions Act 1976.
