The requirements of these Regulations apply to equipment placed on the market or put into service, or both, unless, pursuant to regulation 8 to 14 and regulation 17, it falls outside the scope of these Regulations.

In the case of a fixed installation put into service before 20th July 2007, these Regulations shall apply if it is modified after that date in a way that may affect its electromagnetic compatibility.
