The Railways (Interoperability) Regulations 2006

Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1

The Secretary of State for Transport makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 19721 and section 247 of the Transport Act 20002.

The Secretary of State for Transport is a Minister designated3 for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 in relation to measures relating to the railways and railway transport.
