The London Olympic Games and Paralympic Games Act 2006 (Commencement No. 2) Order 2007
The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 40(2) and (4) of the London Olympic Games and Paralympic Games Act 2006():
Citation
1. This Order may be cited as the London Olympic Games and Paralympic Games Act 2006 (Commencement No. 2) Order 2007.
Provisions coming into force on 2nd April 2007
2. The following provisions of the London Olympic Games and Paralympic Games Act 2006 shall come into force on 2nd April 2007—
(a)paragraph 12 of Schedule 3,
(b)paragraph 13 of Schedule 3, to the extent that it inserts section 8B(2) and (3) into the Olympic Symbol etc. (Protection) Act 1995(), and
(c)paragraph 14 of Schedule 3.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order brings the following provisions of the London Olympic Games and Paralympic Games Act 2006 into force on 2nd April 2007:
paragraph 12 of Schedule 3, which inserts section 8A into the Olympic Symbol etc. (Protection) Act 1995 (“1995 Act”),
paragraph 13 of Schedule 3, to the extent that it inserts section 8B(2) and (3) into the 1995 Act, and
paragraph 14 of Schedule 3, which inserts sections 12A and 12B into the 1995 Act.
