8.—(1) The existing wards of the parish of Mangotsfield Rural(1) shall be abolished.
(2) The parish shall be divided into five wards which shall be named Badminton, Blackhorse, Emersons Green, Pomphrey and Springfield.
(3) Each ward shall comprise the area designated on sheets 8 and 10 by reference to the name of the ward and demarcated by orange lines.
(4) The number of councillors to be elected for Badminton ward shall be four, and for each of Blackhorse, Emersons Green, Pomphrey and Springfield wards shall be three.
The area of the parish of Mangotsfield Rural was altered by the South Gloucestershire (Parishes) Order 2002 (S.I. 2002/3022).
