The Street Litter Control Notices (England)(Amendment) Order 2007

The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 94(1) and (2) of the Environmental Protection Act 19901:

Citation, commencement and application1.

(1)

This Order may be cited as the Street Litter Control Notices (England)(Amendment) Order 2007 and comes into force on 1st July 2007.

(2)

This Order applies in England.

Amendment2.

In article 2 (prescribed commercial and retail premises) of the Street Litter Control Notices Order 19912, for paragraph (b) substitute—

“(b)

premises used wholly or partly for the sale of food or drink for consumption on the premises,”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order, which applies in England, amends the Street Litter Control Notices Order 1991 (S.I. 1991/1324). Article 2 of that Order prescribes the descriptions of commercial or retail premises in respect of which a street litter control notice may be issued. Paragraph (b) of that article is replaced such that premises used wholly or partly for the sale of food or drink for consumption on the premises are prescribed.
