Coming into force
The Secretary of State for Education and Skills makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 79E(2)(c) and 104(4) of, and paragraph 7 of Schedule 9A to, the Children Act 19891:

These Regulations may be cited as the Day Care and Child Minding (Registration Fees) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2007 and come into force on 3rd September 2007.

These Regulations apply only in relation to England.

In these Regulations “the 2005 Regulations” means the Day Care and Child Minding (Registration Fees) (England) Regulations 20052.
Amendment of the 2005 Regulations2

The 2005 Regulations are amended as follows.

In regulation 3 (applications for registration)—
a
for “£18”, in each place where it appears, substitute “£20”;
b
for “£150” substitute “£155”.

In regulation 4 (periodic fees)—
a
for “£14”, in each place where it appears, substitute “£15”;
b
for “£120” substitute “£125”.
