The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 17A(2) and 114(1) and (2) of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998(1), makes the following Regulation:

(1)

1998 (c.37); section 17A of the 1998 Act was inserted by section 22 of, and Schedule 9 to, the Police and Justice Act 2006 (c.48) and is in force from 1^st August 2007 (S.I. 2007/1614). There are amendments to section 114 of the 1998 Act not relevant to these Regulations.
