Coming into force

The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1(1), 5(1)(a), (b), (i), (p) and (q), 189(1), (3), (4) and (6) and 191 of the Social Security Administration Act 19921, sections 9(1)(a) and (4), 10(3) and (6), 79(1), (3), (4) and (7) and 84 of the Social Security Act 19982 and paragraphs 4(6), 20(1)(b) and 23(1) of Schedule 7 to the Child Support, Pensions and Social Security Act 20003.

In accordance with section 173(1)(b) of the Social Security Administration Act 1992 he has obtained the agreement of the Social Security Advisory Committee that proposals to make these Regulations should not be referred to it.
