These Regulations may be cited as the Education (Recognition of School Teachers' Professional Qualifications) (Consequential Provisions) (England) Regulations 2007 and come into force on 19th October 2007.

Amendment to the Education (School Teachers' Qualifications) (England) Regulations 20034
For paragraph 8 of Schedule 2 to the Education (School Teachers' Qualifications) (England) Regulations 2003 M3, substitute—

The person is a person who is, as respects the profession of school teacher, entitled to practice pursuant to Part 2 and Chapters 1, 2 and 4 of Part 3 of the European Communities (Recognition of Professional Qualifications) Regulations 2007.
Amendment to the Education (Specified Work and Registration) (England) Regulations 20035
After paragraph 2 of Schedule 3 to the Education (Specified Work and Registration) (England) Regulations 2003 M4 insert—

A teacher who is a qualified teacher by virtue of regulation 5 of, and paragraph 8 of Schedule 2 to, the 2003 Qualifications Regulations is excepted from the requirement to be registered under regulation 7 if he only carries out specified work in a school on a temporary or occasional basis as determined in accordance with regulation 9(2) of the European Communities (Recognition of Professional Qualifications) Regulations 2007.
