11. Where a parent, in pursuance of section 17(5)(c) of the Act (acquisition by registration: minors)(1), consents to the registration of a person as a British overseas territories citizen under that provision, the consent shall be expressed in writing and signed by the parent.
Section 17(5) of the 1981 Act has been amended by sections 1 and 2 of the British Overseas Territories Act 2002.
