Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1

The Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 1(1) of, and paragraphs 2, 4, 4A, 7, 8 and 10 of Schedule 1 to, the Building Act 19841.

In accordance with section 14(3) of that Act she has consulted the Building Regulations Advisory Committee and such other bodies as appeared to her to be representative of the interests concerned.
