1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Supply of Information (Register of Deaths) Regulations and shall come into force on 1st January 2008.
(2) Reference to the Registrar General means the Registrar General for births, deaths, marriages, and civil partnerships in England and Wales.
(3) Reference to information is information contained in any register of deaths held by the Registrar General.
(4) List Cleaning means updating lists so as to remove the entries on those lists of persons who are deceased.
