Any notification of acceptance (including revisions to it) which is current immediately before the date this Regulation comes into force, issued by the Intergovernmental Commission to the Concessionaire in relation to a safety case (or revisions to it) submitted by the Concessionaire to the Intergovernmental Commission concerning the Fixed Link, shall be deemed to be a safety authorisation within the meaning of Article 28 above.

The deemed safety authorisation referred to in Article 73(a) shall remain valid for one year after the date this Regulation comes into force or until replaced by a new safety authorisation issued pursuant to this Regulation, whichever is the first to occur.
