This Order applies to the whole of the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, except the lengths of road specified in article 3.
The Order designates the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, other than the excepted roads, as both a permitted parking area and a special parking area in accordance with Schedule 3 to the Road Traffic Act 1991. It also applies, with modifications, the various provisions of Part II of that Act to the designated area and modifies the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 in relation to the designated area.
