Sections 78 and 79 of the Act M1 shall apply in relation to applications for express consent under these Regulations subject to the modifications specified in Part 3 of Schedule 4.

The provisions of those sections, as so modified, are set out in Part 4 of that Schedule.

Where a discontinuance notice is served under regulation 8, sections 78 and 79 of the Act shall apply in relation to that notice subject to the modifications specified in Part 5 of that Schedule.
