SCHEDULE 1Enabling Powers
These Regulations are made under the following powers–
(a)
sections 7(3)(aa), 7A(3)(aa), 7C(2)(aa), 10A(5)(b), 13B, 15(2)(aa), and 53 of, rule 57 in Schedule 1 to, and paragraphs 2A, 2B, 3A, 5A, 8A, 10, 12 and 13(1A) of Schedule 2 to, the Representation of the People Act 198393;
(b)
having regard to the definition of “prescribed” in section 202(1) of the Representation of the People Act 1983, section 10A(1)(a), 10A(3), 13A(1)(a), rules 19A, 24, 28(3), 31A and 45(1B) in Schedule 1 to, and paragraph 10(2) of Schedule 2A to, that Act94;
(c)
sections 2(2)(aa) and 15(5) of the Representation of the People Act 198595;
(d)
having regard to the definition of “prescribed” in section 202(1) of the Representation of the People Act 1983 and paragraph 1(2) of Schedule 4 to the Representation of the People Act 200096, paragraphs 3(1)(b) and (2)(c), 4(1)(b), (2)(c) and (4)(a), 6(7) and (8) and 7(5)(c) of that Schedule; and
(e)
section 42 of the Electoral Administration Act 200697.
