Power to discharge surface water into the riverE+W+S
54.—(1) Subject to the provisions of paragraphs 5 and 6 of Schedule 8, the Harbour Authority shall have the power to discharge surface water into the river.
(2) Nothing in this Order authorises the entry into controlled waters of any matters whose entry or discharge into controlled waters is prohibited by section 85 of the Water Resources Act 1991(1).
