Application of the Consumer Protection (Northern Ireland) Order 1987 to the Price Indications (Bureaux de Change) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1992U.K.
7.—(1) Despite the repeal by these Regulations of Article 19 of the Consumer Protection (Northern Ireland) Order 1987 M1, the Price Indications (Bureaux de Change) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1992 M2 shall continue in force, and that Article shall continue to have effect as it had effect immediately before the coming into force of these Regulations for the purpose of amending or revoking those Regulations.
(2) Where these Regulations repeal a provision of the Consumer Protection (Northern Ireland) Order 1987 that, immediately before the coming into force of these Regulations, was applied by the Price Indications (Bureaux de Change) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1992 to an offence under that Order, that provision shall continue to apply to that offence as it applied immediately before the coming into force of these Regulations, notwithstanding that repeal.
