6.—(1) Section 27 of the 1998 Act(1) (general power to give guidance and directions) shall apply in relation to the exercise by the Agency of its intermediate body functions as if—
(a)the reference in subsection (1) to the Secretary of State were a reference to the Managing Authority; and
(b)subsection (1A) were omitted.
(2) The Managing Authority shall give to the GLA a copy of any guidance or directions given to the Agency under this regulation.
Section 27(1A) was inserted by paragraphs 1 and 17 of Schedule 25 to the 1999 Act.
