Amendment of regulation 2

10.  In regulation 2 (interpretation)—

(a) in paragraph (1)—

(i) after the definition of “electronic communication”M1 insert—

““the Employment and Support Allowance Regulations” means the Employment and Support Allowance Regulations 2008;”;

(ii) after the definition of “joint-claim couple”M2 insert—

““limited capability for work” has the same meaning as in section 1(4) of the Welfare Reform Act”; and

(iii) after the definition of “week” insert—

““the Welfare Reform Act” means the Welfare Reform Act 2007;”; and

(b) in paragraph (2)(b) M3 for “and a shared additional pension” substitute “ , a shared additional pension or an employment and support allowance under Part 1 of the Welfare Reform Act ”.
