PART 4 N.I. ABSENT VOTERS

Additional requirements for applications by proxies to vote by post at a particular election N.I.

60.  An application under [F1 section 9(7)(a)] of the 1985 Act shall set out why the applicant’s circumstances on the date of the poll for the election in respect of which it is made will be or are likely to be such that he cannot reasonably be expected to vote in person at the polling station allotted or likely to be allotted to the elector under the elections rules.
