Sampling and analysis

19.—(1) If any enforcement action is taken under this Schedule based on a sample, that sample must have been taken and analysed in accordance with Council Directive 76/371/EEC (establishing Community methods of sampling for the official control of feedingstuffs(1)).

(2) Unless otherwise specified in the marketing authorisation, it is a defence if the active ingredient in the sample is within the following tolerances—
