2. In these Regulations—
“the Act” means the Medicines Act 1968;
“pharmacy business” means the business in respect of which the responsible pharmacist has a duty under section 72A(1) of the Act;
“pharmacy staff” means any pharmacist(1) or any other person who is working at the premises in question in a role connected to the pharmacy business;
“premises” means the premises from which the pharmacy business is carried on.
“Pharmacist” is defined in section 132(1) of the Act, as amended by article 26(6) of, and paragraph 7 of Schedule 5 to, S.I. 1976/1213 and by article 67 of, and paragraph 2(1) and (16) of Schedule 1 to, S.I. 2007/289.
