The Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 140A(1),(2), (4) to (6), 140B(1) and 175 of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992(1), sections 136A(1),(2),(4) to (6), 136B(1) and 171 of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits (Northern Ireland) Act 1992(2) and section 115(3) and (5) of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999(3) make the following regulations:
1992 c.4; sections 140A and 140B were inserted by section 131 of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (c. 14), and section 175 amended by the Social Security Contributions (Transfer of Functions, etc.) Act 1999.
1992 c.7; sections 136A and 136B were inserted by section 134 of the Health and Social Care Act 2008, and section 171 amended by the Social Security Contributions (Transfer of Functions, etc.) (Northern Ireland) Order 1999 (S.I. 1999/671).
1999 c. 33; section 115 was amended by section 138(2) of the Health and Social Care Act 2008.
