The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 27 of the Further and Higher Education Act 1992

(“the Act”).

This Order is made with the consent of the further education corporation known as Stockton Riverside College

Established by the Education (Further Education Corporations) Order 1992 (S.I. 1992/2097) under the name of Stockton-Billingham Technical College, renamed Stockton Riverside College on 1st January 2003.

(“Stockton College”). It is made for the purpose of giving effect to a proposal for the dissolution of the further education corporation known as Bede Sixth Form College, Billingham

Established by the Education (Further Education Corporations) Order 1992 (S.I. 1992/2097).

(“the corporation”) made by the Learning and Skills Council for England. The Secretary of State has consulted the corporation.
