Citation, commencement and interpretation

1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Medicines for Human Use (Clinical Trials) and Blood Safety and Quality (Amendment) Regulations 2008 and shall come into force on 1st May 2008.
(2) In these Regulations—
“the Blood Regulations” means the Blood Safety and Quality Regulations 2005(1);
“the Clinical Trials Regulations” means the Medicines for Human Use (Clinical Trials) Regulations 2004(2).
