Amendments to the Blood Tests (Evidence of Paternity) Regulations 1971

4.  In regulation 2—

(a) in paragraph (1), after the definition of “photograph” insert—

““protected party” means a person who lacks capacity, within the meaning of the Mental Capacity Act 2005(1), to consent to tests”; and

(b) omit paragraph (2).
