The Health Professions Council has made the Health Professions Council (Practice Committees and Miscellaneous Amendments) Rules 2009, as set out in the Schedule to this Order, in exercise of the powers conferred by articles 7(1) and (2), 9(2)(c), 26(3), 32 and 37(4) of, and paragraph 18(1) and (2) of Schedule 1 to, the Health Professions Order 2001(1), having consulted in accordance with articles 7(3) and 41(3) of that Order.
In accordance with article 42(1) of that Order, such Rules shall not come into force until approved by Order of the Privy Council.
Their Lordships, having considered the Rules, are pleased to and do approve them.
