This Order may be cited as the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006 (Commencement No. 4) Order 2009.

In this Order—

  • “the Act” means the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006;

  • “independent school” has the meaning given by section 4632 of the Education Act 19963;

  • “non-maintained special school” has the meaning given by section 3374 of the Education Act 1996.
