After section 360B of the Companies Act 2006 insert—

“Meaning of “traded company”360C.

In this Part, “traded company” means a company any shares of which—

(a)

carry rights to vote at general meetings, and

(b)

are admitted to trading on a regulated market in an EEA State by or with the consent of the company.”.

In Schedule 8 to the Companies Act 2006 (index of defined expressions), at the appropriate place, insert—

“traded company (in Part 13)

section 360C”.
