3.—(1) The Clean Air Act 1993 M1 is amended as follows.
(2) In section 41A (relation to the Pollution Prevention and Control Act 1999) in subsection (4) for the definition of “activity” substitute—
“activity” includes—
(a)
a waste operation within the meaning of the 2007 Regulations, and
(b)
a mining waste operation within the meaning of those Regulations;”.
