Voluntary striking off: contents of an application

2.—(1) An application under section 1003 of the Companies Act 2006 (application for voluntary striking off) must contain a declaration that neither section 1004 nor section 1005(1) of that Act prevents the application from being made.
(2) The declaration must be made by the directors who are making the application on behalf of the company.
