The Electricity (Northern Ireland) Order 1992 is amended as follows.

In Article 73(4)(b) (initial government holding: shares of successor company to be treated as if fully paid up in cash), for “the Companies (Northern Ireland) Order 1986” substitute “ the Companies Acts (as defined in section 2(1) of the Companies Act 2006) ”.

In Article 79(3) (temporary restrictions on borrowing), in the definition of “subsidiary”, for “Article 4 of the Companies (Northern Ireland) Order 1986” substitute “ section 1159 of the Companies Act 2006 ”.

In paragraph 1(1) of Schedule 11 (pensions: interpretation), in the definition of “wholly-owned subsidiary” for “the Companies (Northern Ireland) Order 1986” substitute “ the Companies Acts (see section 1159 of the Companies Act 2006) ”.
