74.—(1) Oral testimony shall be given on oath.
(2) This rule is subject to—
(a)section 5 of the Oaths Act 1978 (affirmation);
(b)section 31 of the 1999 Act (evidence admitted under a special measures direction); and
(c)section 56 of that Act (reception of unsworn evidence by witness who is not permitted to be sworn).
