The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8(2)(a) and section 24(5)(b) of the Private Security Industry Act 2001(1), having regard to the definition of “prescribed” in section 24(1) of that Act.

In accordance with section 24(4)(2) of that Act the Secretary of State has consulted with the Scottish Ministers and the Security Industry Authority.
