The Children and Young Persons Act 2008 (Commencement No. 1 and Saving Provision) Order 2009

The Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 44(4) and (10) of the Children and Young Persons Act 2008(1).
In accordance with section 44(8) of that Act(2), he has consulted the Welsh Ministers.

Section 44(8) of the Children and Young Persons Act 2008 requires the Secretary of State to consult the Welsh Ministers before making an order bringing section 31 or 32 of that Act into force.
