This Order brings into force section 166(6) and (7) of the Pensions Act 2004 (c.35) on 1st March 2009. Section 166(6) and (7) gives the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions power to make Regulations which require the Board of the Pension Protection Fund to take actions in respect of the rights of a pension scheme member.
