1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the South London Healthcare National Health Service Trust (Establishment) and the Bromley Hospitals National Health Service Trust, the Queen Elizabeth Hospital National Health Service Trust and the Queen Mary’s Sidcup National Health Service Trust (Dissolution) Order 2009 and shall come into force on 1st April 2009.
(2) In this Order—
“the Act” means the National Health Service Act 2006;
“the Bromley Hospitals Order” means the Bromley Hospitals National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1992(1);
“community health services” means any services which the Secretary of State may provide under section 3(1)(d) or (e) of, or paragraph 2 or 7A of Schedule 1 to, the Act and any service which he has a duty to provide under paragraph 1 or 8 of that Schedule;
“dissolution date” means the date this Order comes into force;
“operational date” has the meaning assigned to it in paragraph 5(5) of Schedule 4 to the Act;
“the Greenwich Healthcare Order” means the Greenwich Healthcare National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1992(2);
“the Queen Mary’s Sidcup Order” means the Queen Mary’s Sidcup National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1992(3);
“the trust” means the National Health Service trust established by article 2 of this Order.
