Citation, commencement and interpretation1

This Order may be cited as the Armed Forces (Civilians Subject to Service Discipline) Order 2009 and comes into force on 31st October 2009.

In this Order “the Act” means the Armed Forces Act 2006.
Specified military organisations2
The organisation listed in Schedule 1 is specified for the purposes of paragraph 5 of Schedule 15 to the Act.
Other specified organisations3
The organisations listed in Schedule 2 are specified for the purposes of paragraph 6 of Schedule 15 to the Act.
Designated Areas4

The areas listed in paragraph 1 of Schedule 3 are designated for the purposes of paragraphs 4, 6 and 9 of Schedule 15 to the Act.

The areas listed in paragraph 2 of Schedule 3 are designated for the purposes of paragraph 8 of Schedule 15 to the Act.
