Amendment of the Children Act 1989

7.—(1) The Children Act 1989(1) is amended as follows.
(2) Subject to paragraph (3), in section 94(2) (Appeals), for “the High Court” wherever it occurs substitute “a county court ”.
(3) In section 94(8)(a) for “the High Court”substitute “the county court”.

Section 94 was amended by the Courts and Legal Services Act 1990 (c.41), section 116, Schedule 16, Part 1, paragraph 23 and by the Adoption and Children Act 2002 (c.38), section 100.
