Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1(2)

The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 20(3) and (4) of the Police and Justice Act 20061.

In accordance with section 20(4) of that Act, the Secretary of State has consulted with the Welsh Ministers2 regarding the provisions in relation to local authorities in Wales.
