3.—(1) In these Regulations—

the European Regulation” means Regulation (EC) No. 1371/2007 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23rd October 2007 on rail passengers' rights and obligations M1;

the 1993 Act” means the Railways Act 1993 M2;

the ORR” means the [F1Office of Rail and Road].

(2) An expression used in these Regulations and in the European Regulation has the same meaning as in the European Regulation.
