Coming into force
The Secretary of State, being a Minister designated for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 19721, in relation to measures relating to copyright and to rights in performances2, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by that section, hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement1
These Regulations may be cited as the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 (Amendment) Regulations 2010 and come into force on 1st January 2011.
Interpretation2
In these Regulations “the Act” means the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 19883.
