11.1.—(1) The rules in this Part apply to proceedings F1... under Part 4A of the 1996 Act [F2and under Part 1 of Schedule 2 to the 2003 Act] .

(2) In this Part—

[F3“the 2003 Act” means the Female Genital Mutilation Act 2003;

“a FGM protection order” means an order under paragraph 1(1) of Part 1 of Schedule 2 to the 2003 Act;]

“a forced marriage protection order” means an order under section 63A of the 1996 Act M1; F4...

[F5“an individual” means a person (whether legally represented or not) who is not applying for an order on behalf of an organisation, and includes the person who is the subject of the proceedings;]

[F6“a protection order” means a forced marriage protection order or a FGM protection order; and]

“the person who is the subject of the proceedings” means the person who will be protected by the F7... protection order applied for or being considered by the court of its own initiative, if that order is made, or who is being protected by [F8the protection] order.
