“children proceedings” means—
proceedings referred to in rules 12.1 and 14.1 and any other proceedings which relate wholly or mainly to the maintenance or upbringing of a minor;
applications for permission to start proceedings mentioned in paragraph (a);and
applications made in the course of proceedings mentioned in paragraph (a);
“expert” means a person who provides expert evidence for use in proceedings;

“single joint expert” means a person who provides expert evidence for use in proceedings on behalf of two or more of the parties (including the applicant) to the proceedings.
