These Regulations amend the Immigration (Biometric Registration) Regulations 2008 (“the 2008 Regulations”).
Regulation 2(2) extends the categories of persons who are required to apply for a biometric immigration document in accordance with the 2008 Regulations. The categories are Tier 1 (General) Migrant; Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) Migrant; Tier 1 (Investor) Migrant; Tier 1 (Post-Study Work) Migrant; and a Tier 5 (Temporary Worker) Migrant. These are specified categories under the immigration rules.
