The Local Elections (Northern Ireland) Order 2010

2.—(1) In this Order—

“the 1962 Act” means the Electoral Law Act (Northern Ireland) 1962 M1 ;

“Local Elections Rules” means the rules in Schedule 5 to the 1962 Act M2 ; and

“the 1985 Order” means the Local Elections (Northern Ireland) Order 1985 M3 .

(2) The Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954 M4 applies to Article 1 and this Article and the following provisions of this Order as it applies to an Act of the Assembly.
