Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1
The Secretary of State for Transport makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 45(2) and (7) and 46(1)(f) and (j) of the Road Traffic Act 19881.
In determining the amount of the fees specified in these Regulations, the Secretary of State has taken into account the costs of the functions listed in paragraphs 21 to 27 of Schedule 1 of the Department of Transport (Fees) Order 20092 and has taken into account the matters listed in Schedule 2 to that Order in determining the costs of those functions.
In accordance with section 195(2) of that Act he has consulted with such representative organisations as he thinks fit.
