For the purposes of regulations 53, 54 and 55, “relevant licensing body” has the meaning given in this regulation.

In the case of a licence granted under regulation 53(1) for a purpose specified in any of sub-paragraphs (a) to (d) of paragraph (2) of that regulation, “relevant licensing body” means F2in relation to England—
F3a
so far as the licence relates to the restricted English inshore region, the Marine Management Organisation, and
b
otherwise, Natural England.

In the case of a licence granted F4in relation to England—
a
under regulation 53(1) for a purpose specified in any of sub-paragraphs (e) to (g) of paragraph (2) of that regulation,
b
under regulation 53(4), or
c
under regulation 54,
“relevant licensing body” means the appropriate authority.

In the case of a licence granted in relation to Wales, “relevant licensing body” means the Natural Resources Body for Wales.
